St. Aloysius Gonzaga's Church

The building combines Italian Gothic Revival style with ornamental elements that include relief carvings depicting religious figures throughout its exterior.

Architect William W. Renwick designed this Italian Gothic Revival structure in 1902, with construction completed in 1904. The church was built to serve the growing religious needs of the neighborhood's immigrant communities during a period of rapid urban development.
