St. Mark the Evangelist's Church, Catholic church in northern Harlem, Manhattan, US

The brick church building stands at the intersection of West 138th Street and Lenox Avenue, featuring early 20th-century architectural elements.

The parish, established in 1907, commissioned architect Nicholas Serracino to design the church building, which was completed in 1914 for $12,000.

The congregation became the first Catholic church in Harlem to welcome African American parishioners from the southern United States and Caribbean regions.

The church maintains regular worship services, community programs, and outreach activities through their website at stmark138.com.

The Holy Ghost Fathers have continuously staffed this Manhattan parish since 1912, maintaining over a century of spiritual leadership.
