Springton Manor Farm, Historic district in Wallace Township, Pennsylvania, US

Springton Manor Farm is a historic property in Wallace Township comprising fourteen preserved buildings spread across roughly 100 acres. The main stone house displays Georgian and Queen Anne architectural features, surrounded by barns, outbuildings, and other structures that reflect farming life from earlier centuries.

The main house was built in three distinct phases, beginning in 1836 and continuing with major renovations in 1887 and 1912. These additions reflect how the property evolved to meet the changing needs of the families who lived and worked there.

The Family Farm Museum housed in the main barn displays tools and equipment that show how farming families in this region worked over the years. Walking through the exhibits helps visitors understand the practical knowledge passed down through generations of farmers.

The property sits along Springton Road in Glenmoore and is accessible during daylight hours, making morning or early afternoon the best time to explore the buildings and grounds. Wearing sturdy shoes is recommended since you will be walking across paths and open fields to move between structures.

The property features a working farm experience with horses, donkeys, rabbits, calves, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, and peacocks on the grounds. These animals give visitors a sense of the daily reality of maintaining a functioning farm and the variety of livestock that provided food and resources.
