St. Luke's United Methodist Church

The brick church building stands at 1199 Main Street, featuring rounded arches, stone details, and numerous stained glass windows throughout its exterior.

Construction of the current building began in 1896, following earlier structures from 1834, 1839, and 1853, with architect George W. Kramer implementing Richardsonian Romanesque design.

The congregation maintains regular worship services combining traditional Methodist practices with contemporary elements, engaging members through various ministry programs and community outreach.

The church opens its doors for both Sunday services and weekday activities, while offering educational programs and fellowship opportunities for all age groups.

The building houses over 100 Tiffany stained glass windows, forming one of the five largest religious collections of such artworks in existence.
