Stapp's Circle S Ranch

Stapp's Circle S Ranch is an animal facility in Decatur County housing a range of species across its grounds. The property contains separate enclosures for bears, tigers, bison, longhorn cattle, and various domestic farm animals spread throughout the site.

The ranch began in 2001 as a family-run petting zoo and received official USDA approval in 2008 to operate as a licensed wildlife facility. This authorization transformed it from a private venture into a recognized public operation.

Visitors experience how animals from different parts of the world share the same space and interact with each other daily. The setting shows both wild and domestic creatures living side by side, offering insight into their habits and care needs.

The facility sits near Highway 46 and opens to visitors on weekends with guided tours available throughout the grounds. During your visit, you can hand-feed animals from an antique tractor, providing a direct interaction with the creatures on-site.

The facility is home to several named tigers such as Rocky and Jasmine, along with two bears known as Yogi and Boo Boo. These individual animals have become signature residents that draw visitors interested in seeing familiar characters up close.
