Stricker's Grove

Strickers Grove is an amusement park in Ohio featuring two wooden roller coasters named Tornado and Teddy Bear alongside other mechanical rides. The grounds are compact but filled with attractions that span different eras of operation.

Henry Stricker created a picnic area in 1924 for his Procter and Gamble coworkers. The site grew into a park over the following decades while remaining under family ownership.

This family-owned venue operates as a private business and maintains traditions passed down through multiple generations. You experience a sense of continuity and care that reflects the owners' long-term relationship with the space.

The park opens for groups of approximately 550 or more people, or on eight designated days each year. Visitors should arrange visits in advance and note height restrictions for specific rides.

Ralph Stricker designed and built the Tornado roller coaster entirely by himself in 1993. This was a rare achievement, as few individuals in the US have ever constructed their own wooden coasters.
