The main entrance is located on Wilkinson Road in Havre de Grace, providing easy access to trails, fishing areas, and picnic grounds from the parking area. Early morning visits tend to be less crowded, making it easier to enjoy the trails and river views throughout the day.
The Steppingstone Museum on the grounds displays rural crafts and artworks from 1880 to 1920, offering an unexpected glimpse into everyday life in Harford County during that era. Visitors can see how people decorated their homes and created functional items by hand during this period.
