The Gothic House, Gothic Revival residence in West End, Portland, United States.

The Gothic House at 387 Spring Street features pointed arches, steep gables, and wooden siding designed to resemble rusticated stone construction.

Built in 1845 by Irish architect Henry Rowe, this residence represents one of Maine's first examples of Gothic Revival architecture in residential buildings.

The architectural design draws inspiration from Andrew Jackson Downing's 1842 publication 'Cottage Residences', reflecting American residential design influences of the period.

Located on the north side of Spring Street, east of Western Cemetery, this private residence remains visible from the public sidewalk throughout the year.

The structure was relocated approximately one mile down Spring Street in 1971 to prevent its demolition, maintaining its original architectural features.
