Vassar Chapel, Norman church building at Vassar College, Poughkeepsie, US.
The granite and sandstone structure features a t-shaped layout with a tower, incorporating five bays marked by subsequent arches and stained glass windows.
The cornerstone was placed in 1902, and the construction finished in 1904, replacing the original chapel located on the third floor of Main Building.
The chapel became a concert venue for performers like Nina Simone and Earth, Wind & Fire, while also hosting the Vassar Gospel Choir during the late 1960s.
The interior space accommodates 1,300 people and serves as the primary location for college convocations, religious services, and community gatherings throughout the academic year.
The chapel contains ten stained glass windows created between 1905 and 1909 by artists John La Farge and Louis Comfort Tiffany.
