Wacky Waters Adventure Park

Wacky Waters Adventure Park was a water park in Davenport featuring multiple slides such as the Daredevil and Thunderbolt, along with a wave pool and children's play area. The facility provided multiple water-based attractions in a single location for summer visitors.

The park opened in 1984 and remained a popular summer destination for more than two decades. It later became a facility for water safety training and rescue operations.

The park had changing rooms, lockers, and food options available for visitors throughout the day. Lifeguards were stationed across all water areas to ensure visitor safety.

In 1986, an unconventional wedding took place at the top of the Daredevil slide, where a couple exchanged vows before sliding down together. This unusual ceremony received national media attention and remains a memorable moment in the park's history.
