Total Mortgage Arena

Total Mortgage Arena is an indoor hall in downtown Bridgeport, Connecticut, positioned near the harbor and designed to hold several thousand guests. Inside, a flexible floor system supports seats arranged on different levels, including private boxes and club sections, with a digital scoreboard suspended above the playing surface.

The hall opened in October 2001 and has since served as home ground for different professional hockey teams. Over the years the name changed several times until the current mortgage company acquired the rights.

The building carries the name of a Connecticut mortgage company that secured naming rights in recent years. Local sports fans attend hockey games and university events here regularly, treating them as a steady part of community life.

The hall sits near the harbor and is easy to reach on foot or by car, with parking available in the surrounding area. Depending on the type of event, seating layouts change, so checking the specific arrangement before visiting helps.

Since 2016 the building also hosts basketball and hockey games for two Connecticut universities that play their home matches here. This partnership between professional sports and college athletics is rather uncommon in the region.
