Kennekuk Cove County Park

Kennekuk Cove County Park is a large protected natural area near Danville with woodlands, open fields, wetlands, and Lake Mingo at its center. The landscape combines different habitats that support a variety of wildlife and outdoor activities.

The park was established in 1974 as a protected conservation area. Within its boundaries lie two historical burial grounds that mark early settlement in the region.
