Stewart Home School

Stewart Home School is a private residential institution serving students with intellectual disabilities on an 850-acre property in Franklin County, Kentucky. Dr. John Q. A. Stewart founded the school in 1893 on the grounds of the former Kentucky Military Institute, located southeast of Frankfort. The institution developed from this foundation to become a long-established center for education serving students with intellectual disabilities.
