Wyndham Springfield City Centre, Hotel and office tower in downtown Springfield, United States
The Wyndham Springfield City Centre is a 30-story tower reaching 352 feet above the downtown core, making it the tallest structure in the state capital. Inside, it houses more than 300 guest rooms, multiple event spaces, and facilities for swimming and fitness.
The building opened in 1974 as Forum 30 Plaza Hotel and went through several name changes before joining the Wyndham chain in 2015. These transitions reflect how the hotel industry and the city itself changed over more than four decades.
The top-floor restaurant serves regional dishes while providing sweeping views across the city, allowing diners to enjoy local cooking from above the downtown core. The menu reflects what grows and is prepared throughout the broader area.
The building sits in the downtown area and is easy to reach on foot, with most areas accessible to visitors. Modern elevators and wide entryways make navigation straightforward for people with varying mobility needs.
Glass elevators rise through the first 15 floors, letting riders watch the cityscape shift as they move upward through the tower. This transparent view offers a rare vantage point on how the downtown area looks from the inside out.
