The Shore Theatre is a seven-story neo-Renaissance Revival structure at 1301 Surf Avenue built with brick, limestone, and terracotta that originally seated approximately 2,472 guests. The building integrated cinema halls with office and commercial spaces across its multiple levels.
History
The theater opened in 1925 as a major entertainment venue in Coney Island's booming era of amusement and recreation. It received landmark status in 2010, officially protecting its architectural features from alterations.

The theater served as an entertainment hub where visitors could enjoy both film screenings and live vaudeville performances in an ornate setting. The Moller organ provided musical accompaniment that enhanced the overall theatrical experience.
