Theater an der Winkelwiese

Theater an der Winkelwiese is located in the basement of Villa Tobler and provides a flexible performance space for different types of theatrical productions. The room allows different seating and stage arrangements to support various kinds of shows.

The theater opened in 1964 with a Swiss premiere of a Harold Pinter work and operated under the artistic direction of Maria von Ostfelden. This founding marked the start of a venue dedicated to supporting new theatrical experiences.
