Mörsburg Castle

Mörsburg Castle is a fortification on a hilltop in Oberwinterthur with thick stone walls, several towers, and an inner courtyard overlooking the Töss River. The building was expanded over centuries and displays architectural features from different periods.

The castle was first mentioned in written records around 950, and was later controlled by the Kyburger and Habsburg families. Between the 13th and 15th centuries it underwent its most significant modifications and expansions.
