Hösbach

Hösbach is a market municipality in the Aschaffenburg district, spread across several villages and communities. The area includes multiple settlements and residential districts that form the larger administrative whole.

The place was first recorded in 1189 when names like Hermann de Hostebach appeared in the Mainz archbishop's documents. The founding of St. Michael's church in 1218 marked a turning point for permanent settlement in the area.
