Eberswalde Familiengarten

The park was created from a 2002 State Garden Show and transformed industrial land into a recreation area. Elements of the site's 300-year manufacturing heritage were integrated into the new design.

The park incorporates German fairy tale traditions through designed areas including a Baba-Yaga house and an enchanted forest, bringing classic stories to life for visitors. These elements are woven throughout the grounds and encourage exploration as you walk.

The park is accessible and offers various areas to explore on foot at a comfortable pace. Clear signage at the entrance helps visitors navigate to the different zones and attractions.

The park features an underground waterway system that allows visitors to paddle boat beneath the park's surface. This unusual attraction combines recreation with the site's hidden industrial past.
