Haus Hilbeck

Haus Hilbeck is a large residential mansion in Werl built in the late 1700s, distinguished by its classical proportions and regional building elements. The two-story structure sits on spacious grounds and retains the layout and features typical of its era.

The property was first documented in 1396, though the von Plettenberg family acquired it in 1726 and shaped its development significantly. The present building was erected around 1798, replacing an earlier water castle that had stood on the grounds.
