Tersteegenhaus, Protestant community center in Sülz, Germany
The red-brick building features five tall rectangular windows with pilasters, accompanied by basalt sculptures depicting religious symbols and natural elements.
Built in 1928 by architects Heinrich Mattar and Eduard Scheler, the structure underwent reconstruction after World War II damage and received heritage status in 1983.
The Tersteegenhaus serves as a gathering place for Protestant worship services, with regular Sunday ceremonies and monthly evening services at 7:15 PM.
The facility contains a church hall on the upper floor, three community rooms, a foyer, office spaces, and a kindergarten on the ground level.
The building earned the first architecture prize from the Evangelical Church in Rhineland in 2012 for its artistic interior design.
