Ruine Alt-Ehrenfels, Medieval castle ruins in Hayingen, Germany.
The remains of Alt-Ehrenfels Castle stand at 610 meters above sea level, featuring a round tower with a 7-meter diameter and substantial shield walls.
The Lords of Ehrenfels initiated the construction of this fortress in 1257, which later served as their primary residence until its destruction in 1515.
