Wietzer Berg, Summit in Lower Saxony, Germany.

Wietzer Berg rises 102 meters above sea level within the Lüneburg Heath, featuring a mix of forested areas and open heathland terrain.

The Lönsstein monument stands at the summit, commemorating the German writer Hermann Löns who documented the landscapes of Lüneburg Heath.

A flock of thirty Moorland sheep, known as Heidschnucken, remains in an enclosure near the peak as a regional agricultural tradition.

Visitors can access the mountain through multiple walking paths, with a dedicated parking area and information board located 600 meters from the summit.

The mountain forms part of the Südheide Nature Park, offering elevated views across the generally flat surrounding landscape of northern Germany.
