Gans'scher Adelshof, Medieval noble residence in Groß-Umstadt, Germany

The Gans'scher Adelshof features an L-shaped structure with two wings, incorporating a north-south oriented west wing and a larger east wing from the 16th century.

Originally owned by Konrad Klebitz in 1263, the estate changed hands through noble families until the Gans von Otzberg family acquired it in 1600.

The mansion displays two notable coat-of-arms on its facade, representing the Gems family and the Praunheim-Bommersheim lineage, marking its aristocratic heritage.

Located at the southeast corner of the old city walls, the property remains in private ownership and visitors can only observe the exterior from public streets.

A three-story granary constructed with red Odenwald sandstone stands adjacent to the east wing, featuring timber framing on its upper levels.
