Alter Hatzfelder Wasserturm, Water tower in Barmen district, Wuppertal, Germany.

The brick structure stands 46 meters tall and features architectural elements characteristic of early 20th-century German industrial construction methods.

Built in 1904 under architect Julius Dicke's supervision, this tower played a central role in providing drinking water to the independent city of Barmen.

The water tower exemplifies the Intze principle of construction, which revolutionized water storage technology throughout German-speaking regions.

Located at coordinates 51°17'37.3"N, 7°11'2.0"E, visitors can reach the tower through the former Loh-Hatzfeld railway line endpoint.

The structure underwent modifications in 1953, resulting in the removal of its ventilation lantern and decorative elements from its original design.
