Palacio Vistalegre, Concert hall in Vista Alegre, Madrid, Spain.
Palacio Vistalegre is a multipurpose indoor arena in Madrid, Spain, used for concerts, sports matches and occasional bullfights. The complex contains three separate spaces, with the largest area seating around fourteen thousand visitors, a medium hall holding roughly five thousand people and a smaller room accommodating nearly two thousand guests.
A bullring built in 1906 originally stood on this site before closing in 1980 and being demolished in 1995. The current building opened in 2000, replacing the old structure with a modern multipurpose venue.
The multipurpose venue maintains connections to Spanish traditions by incorporating bullfighting capabilities while hosting international music performances and sporting competitions throughout the year.
The venue offers more than a thousand parking spots for visitors and has several entrances from different directions to handle large crowds during events. Access and orientation are generally straightforward due to its location in a residential area south of the city center.
Between 2001 and 2013, the arena served as home court for major Spanish basketball clubs including CB Estudiantes and Real Madrid. During this period, fans regularly watched top-level games in the space.
