Palacio Viejo de la Reina María Cristina de Borbón, Royal palace in Puerta Bonita, Madrid, Spain
The palace features a rectangular layout with five sections and a Doric column portico leading to a wide entrance hall and mahogany staircase.
Originally built as a public casino by Colonel Pablo Cabrero, the building underwent extensive renovations when Queen Maria Cristina of Bourbon acquired it.
The palace rooms display ornate painted ceilings and decorative elements, with the Grande Greenhouse concealing gardens from external views.
The palace now houses the Regional Center for Innovation and Training 'Las Acacias', dedicated to teacher training activities since 2001.
The building connects to the Bellavista house through a porticoed corridor, added during reconstruction efforts following the Civil War damages.
