Las Eras

Las Eras is a coastal settlement in Fasnia on the eastern side of Tenerife, where banana and tomato plantations spread toward the Atlantic shoreline. The village consists of scattered houses set among agricultural fields with wide views toward the ocean and the island's volcanic ridges.

The place grew in the 20th century from farming activity and was named after the flat fields where farmers cultivated their crops. Its roads and buildings developed around these farm boundaries, which still define the village layout today.
