Landetxo Goikoa baserria

The farmhouse features stone walls, pointed twin windows with carved double arches, and a central portico displaying substantial geometric moldings.

Dating from the 16th century, Landetxo Goikoa represents one of the earliest examples of rural housing construction in the Basque Country region.

The farmhouse forms part of Izenaduba theme park, where visitors experience Basque traditions and meet Olentzero, the traditional Christmas gift-bringing figure.

Located at 31 meters elevation, the site offers guided tours, traditional workshops, and opportunities to learn about Basque agricultural practices.

The building contains original non-opening wooden windows adorned with geometric patterns and preserved wooden screens made of laths and tongue-and-groove boards.
