Drogueria Boter

Drogueria Boter is a modernist building with an arched glass and metal canopy over its main entrance and side display windows on both sides. The shop continues to operate today as a specialized retail store for chemical products and household items at Calle Mar 71.

Architect Joan Amigó i Barriga designed this building in the early 20th century, incorporating elements of Catalan modernism into its composition. The work arose during a time when Badalona was developing as a modern commercial center.

The building keeps its original interior fittings and plaster ceilings, showing how shops in Badalona once looked and operated. These details tell the story of the city's everyday trading culture and how people shopped in earlier times.
