Mirador de Ézaro, Scenic viewpoint in Dumbría, Spain.
Mirador de Ézaro is a scenic viewpoint located at approximately 274 meters elevation, offering views of Monte Pindo, the cove of Ó Ézaro, and Cabo Fisterra. The platform overlooks the coastline and the surrounding hills stretching toward the horizon.
The site gained prominence when the 2012 Vuelta a Espana cycling race passed through the area. A cyclist sculpture was later installed at the summit to mark this moment in the location's history.
The viewpoint draws cyclists and photographers who come to capture the rugged coastal landscape together. People gather here to share moments with others and take in the expansive view across the water.
The site is accessible by car by crossing the bridge over the Ézaro River and following a secondary road to a parking area near the summit. Check local conditions before visiting, as the route can be challenging in poor weather or during peak travel times.
This spot offers a rare sight: a waterfall that drops directly into the sea, one of the few places in Europe where this occurs. The water plunges over 100 meters, especially when the hydroelectric plant is operating.
