Port Pierre-Canto

Port Pierre-Canto is a yacht marina in Cannes offering approximately 530 berths for vessels up to 90 meters long, located at the eastern end of Cannes Bay near La Croisette. The facility features modern infrastructure serving both moored yachts and waterfront visitors.

The port opened in 1965 as Europe's first private marina, entirely financed by Pierre Canto. This establishment marked an innovative milestone in Mediterranean yacht harbor development.

The port hosts the annual Régates Royales de Cannes, one of the Mediterranean's most prestigious classic yacht racing events that draws international competitors.

The location is easily accessible from the pedestrian promenade of La Croisette and offers casual access to view yachts and waterfront activity. Walking paths along the harbor allow visitors to stroll and observe the moored vessels at leisure.

The Espace Grand Large promenade was renovated in 2021 with expanded pedestrian access and panoramic views toward the sea and Esterel mountains. This renewed public space connects harbor activity with leisurely coastal strolling.
