The CIS Tower reaches 118 meters with 26 floors above ground and 3 basement levels, featuring glass curtain walls and metal window frames throughout its structure.
Upon completion in 1962, the CIS Tower became the tallest building in the United Kingdom, surpassing the Shell Centre before the Millbank Tower took the title in 1963.
The building received recognition from the Royal Institute of British Architects in 1962 and later obtained Grade II listed status for its architectural contribution to Manchester.
The tower contains 388,000 square feet of office space across its floors, with modern facilities serving numerous businesses in the NOMA district of Manchester.
In 2006, the building integrated Europe's largest commercial solar facade during renovations, combining heritage preservation with environmental technology.
