Chichester/Goodwood Airport, Historic aerodrome in West Sussex, England
The airport features four grass runways, including runway 14R/32L measuring 1225 meters in length and 46 meters in width for private aircraft operations.
During World War II, the airfield served as RAF Westhampnett, hosting two fighter squadrons during the Battle of Britain as a relief landing ground.
The perimeter track of the former military airfield has transformed into the Goodwood Circuit, becoming a center for motorsport activities since the 1940s.
The airport maintains a Civil Aviation Authority license permitting public transport flights and instruction through the Goodwood Road Racing Company Limited.
The facility combines aviation heritage with modern flying services, housing numerous historic aircraft alongside an operational flying school for contemporary training.
