Ladhar Bheinn

Ladhar Bheinn is a mountain summit in the Scottish Highlands that rises to approximately 1,020 meters with multiple ridges and steep slopes creating a complex, jagged profile. The terrain features sharp angles and pronounced elevations that give the peak its distinctive rugged character.

The mountain was included in the Munro classification in 1891 when Sir Hugh Munro published his list of Scottish peaks above 3,000 feet. This official recognition established it as a significant landmark in Scottish mountaineering tradition.

The name comes from Scottish Gaelic and means 'Hill of the hoof or claw'. This naming reflects how Highland communities historically described their landscape through everyday observation of wildlife and terrain.
