Ladhar Bheinn, Mountain summit in Knoydart, Scotland.
Rising to 1,020 meters, Ladhar Bheinn features multiple ridges, steep slopes, and a complex topography extending across the Highland landscape.
The mountain received its designation as a Munro in 1891 when Sir Hugh Munro published his list of Scottish mountains above 3,000 feet.
The name Ladhar Bheinn stems from Gaelic origins, translating to 'Hill of the hoof or claw' and locals pronounce it as LAR-ven.
Access to Ladhar Bheinn requires taking a ferry from Mallaig to Inverie or walking from Kinlochhourn, followed by a demanding hiking trail.
The mountain holds the distinction of being the most westerly Munro on the Scottish mainland, ranking 37th among peaks in the British Isles.
