Dimbola Lodge, Victorian museum and gallery in Freshwater, England
Dimbola Lodge exhibits architectural elements including a Gothic-style central tower connecting two former fisherman cottages on the Isle of Wight.
The house belonged to photographer Julia Margaret Cameron from 1860 to 1875, during which time she created numerous portraits of Victorian society figures.
The museum displays permanent collections of Victorian photography alongside temporary exhibitions from international artists and photographers throughout the year.
The Julia Margaret Cameron Trust maintains the Grade II listed building, offering guided tours, photography workshops, and access to the Victorian tea room.
A bronze statue of Jimi Hendrix stands in the garden, commemorating his performance at the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival at nearby Afton Down.
