The Fountain Studios was a production site in Wembley Park with several studio spaces. The largest space reached dimensions that made it the biggest television facility of its kind in Europe.
The facility opened in 1927 as British Incorporated Pictures and was converted two years later for sound recording. Expansions in the 1960s followed, creating new production possibilities.
The site served as a key filming location for music shows and talent formats that became known across the country. Visitors today can still recognize the facade tied to many television productions.
The building has been used as an events venue since 2017, so visitors can often only view the exterior facade. Access to the grounds depends on running events.
During the Second World War, the Fox Film Company handed the premises over to the military for training purposes. This use lasted several years and shaped the facility during that period.
