Church of St Mary, West Harptree, Grade II* listed church in West Harptree, England.

The Church of St Mary is a listed church building featuring a prominent octagonal spire that rises above a west-facing tower with copper sheet cladding. The structure combines medieval origins with a 15th-century main body in its overall design.

The church was originally founded in the 12th century, though its current main body dates from the 15th century. A major restoration in 1865 updated and preserved the building's structure for future generations.

The church displays memorials to local residents throughout its interior and contains an organ from 1891 donated by a former vicar. These elements show how deeply the building is tied to the community it serves.

The church is situated on Bath Road and welcomes visitors interested in its architecture and history. As with many village churches, it is best to check opening times before visiting, since access can vary depending on services and local events.

A former vicar here, Reverend Robert Wolfall, holds an important place in religious history on both sides of the Atlantic. He was the first Anglican to conduct Holy Communion in North America back in 1578.
