Tel Motza temple is an archaeological site near Jerusalem with stone walls, ritual chambers, and ceremonial spaces from the Iron Age. The structure had several rooms used for religious gatherings and ritual offerings.
The sanctuary was established during the First Temple period and remained in use through the Iron Age. Excavations starting in 2012 revealed the ancient structure and evidence of organized religious ceremonies conducted there.
The site shows traces of ancient worship through discovered altars, figurines, and clay and stone vessels. These objects reveal how people performed their religious practices here thousands of years ago.
