San Jacopo e Cristoforo, Castagneto Carducci

San Jacopo e Cristoforo is a stone church in Castagneto Carducci with a gabled facade made of squared blocks and a baptismal chapel located in its vestibular area. The building features a wide lowered arch that separates the vestibule from the main hall.

The church underwent substantial renovations that concluded in 1902, transforming both its external appearance and interior layout. These works gave the building its present-day neo-medieval character.

The walls feature painted decorations including marble-like patterns and portraits of Saints James and Christopher positioned above the sacristy doors. These artistic details shape the feeling of the interior and give the space a personal, decorative quality.
