Castello Passerin d’Entrèves, Medieval castle in Châtillon, Italy.
The Passerin d'Entrèves Castle features a rectangular layout with two western towers and an eastern wing housing guest quarters and a chapel.
Built in the 13th century, the castle underwent major renovations in the 18th century, transforming from a medieval fortress into an aristocratic residence.
The castle chapel contains frescoes from 1502, commissioned by Filiberto di Challant, depicting the baptism of Renato di Challant and the Holy Shroud.
The three-hectare park surrounding the castle opens to visitors from March 15 to October 30, with two hectares accessible to the public.
The castle maintains one of the last historical French gardens in Aosta Valley, featuring a lime and beech tree avenue created by Countess Paolina.
