National Archaeological Museum, Gioia del Colle

The National Archaeological Museum exhibits bronze weapons, clay figures, and geometric vases discovered in the necropolis of Mount Sannace and Santo Mola.

The museum collection contains artifacts spanning from the sixth to second century BC, documenting the evolution of Peucetian settlements in the region.

The exhibited items include detailed pottery decorations and bronze objects that demonstrate the craftsmanship of ancient Apulian artisans and their society.

Located within the Norman-Hohenstaufen Castle, the museum maintains daily opening hours from 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM and provides wheelchair access throughout.

This museum preserves findings from a Peucetian village that archaeologists discovered during excavations dating to the seventh century BC.
