Ōita Prefectural Culture Center, Modern music venue in Ōita, Japan
The Ōita Prefectural Culture Center is a modern music venue in Ōita with two main concert halls of different sizes. The iichiko Grand Theater accommodates around 2000 people, while the iichiko Oto-no-Izumi Hall provides a more intimate setting with around 700 seats.
The center opened in September 1998 and marked an important expansion of cultural infrastructure in the prefecture. This opening significantly strengthened the cultural offerings available in southwestern Japan.
