Ōita Prefectural Culture Center

The Ōita Prefectural Culture Center contains two main concert halls: the iichiko Grand Theater with 1966 seats and the iichiko Oto-no-Izumi Hall with 710 seats.

The center, which opened its doors in September 1998, marks a significant development in the cultural infrastructure of the Ōita Prefecture in southwestern Japan.

The facility presents a wide range of performances throughout the year, from classical orchestras and operas to contemporary music concerts and traditional Japanese performances.

Located within the Oasis Hiroba 21 complex, the center stands at a convenient distance of 10 minutes by foot from JR Ōita Station and 7 minutes by car from the expressway.

The venue features specialized rehearsal spaces, meeting rooms, and exhibition areas, along with a proscenium stage measuring between 14 and 20 meters in width.
