Toyonokuni Libraries for Cultural Resources

Toyonokuni Libraries for Cultural Resources consists of reading spaces with one hundred pillars and horizontal beams, which together create an open and spacious study complex. The building combines the prefectural library, historical archives, and administrative collections all in one structure.

The facility was founded in 1902 and began as a regional library with modest scope. Over the decades, it grew into a major cultural center housing multiple archives and research areas.
