Moschea di Forlì

The Mosque of Forlì is a modern prayer house with prayer halls, classrooms, and meeting spaces spread across several floors. The building also includes ablution areas for ritual washing before prayer and other facilities needed for daily use.

The building opened in 2014 and was the first formal prayer house for Muslims in the Emilia-Romagna region at that time. Its construction marked a turning point for the Muslim community, which had previously lacked a permanent gathering place.

The prayer center serves the local Muslim community as a place to gather and celebrate religious holidays together. People from different backgrounds come here and share experiences through joint meals and community events.

The building is open several days a week during prayer times and accommodates about 350 visitors at once. When visiting the site, wear appropriate clothing and be aware of the visit guidelines.

The building blends modern architecture with classical Islamic design principles in its interior spaces. This mix of old and new is visible in details like ceiling patterns and the way natural light flows through the rooms.
