Palazzo Campana, Palace in Osimo, Italy.
The palace exhibits white stone moldings and broken tympanums on its facade, following the architectural style of the 17th century.
Built as residence of Marquis Federico Campana, commissioner of the Papal Cavalry, the palace became an educational institution in 1715 following his testament.
The palace library holds 155 manuscripts from the 14th to 20th centuries, including illuminated works, incunables, and geographical atlases by Mercatore and Blaeu.
The palace opens from Monday to Friday between September and July, with free admission and visits available through advance reservations.
Two underground galleries within the palace contain numerous figures carved in sandstone, dating from the 18th and 19th centuries.
