Teatro la Nuova Fenice, Opera house in Osimo, Italy
Teatro la Nuova Fenice features a horseshoe-shaped auditorium with three tiers of boxes and a gallery, accommodating 444 spectators including 187 in the stalls.
The current structure, designed by architect Gaetano Canedi between 1887 and 1892, replaced an earlier theater from 1773 that was deemed unsafe and demolished in 1885.
The theater interior displays decorative elements by Giovanni Diana, Fernando Torchi, and Alfonso Goldini, featuring floral and geometric patterns throughout the space.
Located in Piazza Marconi 1, the venue offers online ticket purchases for performances ranging from classical theater productions to contemporary plays and ballet shows.
The theater maintains a historical curtain created by scenographer Alfonso Goldini in 1870, which served the venue for 70 years before being carefully preserved.
