The Sakurazuka Kofungun consists of multiple burial mounds located in the residential district of Toyonaka City, Osaka Prefecture.
During the Kofun period between 300 and 538 CE, these burial mounds served as final resting places for regional leaders and nobility.
The mounds exhibit the architectural preferences of ancient Japanese society, featuring both circular and keyhole-shaped structures known as kofun.
Visitors can access the site via a 15-minute walk from Toyonaka Station on the Hankyu Takarazuka Line.
The burial complex contains preserved artifacts from the 4th century, including mirrors, weapons, and ceremonial objects within its chambers.
