Kawadacho Garden, Residential tower in Kawadacho, Tokyo, Japan

Kawadacho Garden is a residential complex made up of four towers with 41 stories and 704 apartments spread across the Shinjuku district. The development includes a supermarket, communal gardens, and recreational spaces for residents.

The site was completed in 2003, replacing the former headquarters of Fuji TV station that occupied the location until 1997. The construction marked a shift from media centers to residential spaces in this part of Tokyo.

The residential complex shows how modern high-rises blend communal gardens and green spaces where neighbors gather throughout the day. This approach to neighborhood design is typical of Japanese housing developments that carve out quiet areas within the bustling city.

A supermarket within the complex operates with extended hours, making daily shopping convenient for residents and visitors. Akebonobashi Station is about a four-minute walk away, providing easy access to the rest of the city.

The complex houses several specialized facilities including a round-the-clock fitness center, medical clinic, and childcare services. This combination creates a self-contained environment where residents can access daily services without leaving the grounds.
