Hanegi Park

Hanegi Park is a public park in Daita with various sports facilities and green spaces. The grounds feature tennis courts, baseball fields, and multiple playgrounds as well as a maze area.

The park was established in the postwar period as a public green space for the community. Later, a plum garden and additional facilities were added to expand the offerings.

The park serves as a social hub where families gather to spend time together outdoors. The various play areas are actively used daily by children and adults who value the open space as a community meeting point.

The park is within walking distance from Umegaoka Station and can be easily reached on foot. Visitor parking is available, and most facilities remain open throughout the year.

A special area within the park is the Play Park, where children can play freely and explore boundaries on their own terms. This approach to play with personal responsibility sets this space apart from typical playgrounds.
